[Carfreeliving] sidewalk parking

I'm not surprised by the strong, black-and-white feelings exhibited by 
some folks on this list against sidewalk parking.  But, so you know, if 
anyone here who has stated adamantly that sidewalk parking is absolutely 
unacceptable - period! - ends up cracked out in a car for some reason 
(gawd forbid!), and chooses to park any bit of the car on the sidewalk for 
whatever reason (unloading something heavy, just running inside to grab 
something, don't want to double park on transit street or in bike lane for 
their short errand, whatever), I will feel free to jump on your hood and 
start doing jumping jacks while chanting "Car free is care free! Car free 
is care free!"  Then I'll put a bumpersticker on the car that says 
"Extremists should be shot"
:)
I'm kidding...sort of...  Let's just try not to take things too 
seriously...(I'm guilty of this myself at times...but I'm workin on it!)

And if you're wondering, I'm off the clock...  The last couple days have 
been hectic so I've had the need to chill out a bit this 
afternoon...thanks for suffering me.
