[Carfreeliving] Book for transportation and infrastructure geeks

While I was book shopping for others I grabbed a book for myself, called 
"The Works". It is full of excellent illustrations and maps showing New 
York City's infrastructure. It is a full-on geek book - y'all will love 
it. Would love to see a similar version on SF.
Great section on subway, streets, traffic flow, bridges, tunnels and so 
on. Even has section on traffic calming. But notably absent in this 
otherwise thorough scannning of urban infrastructure is bus transit and 
bicycles. It does mention bike lanes as part of traffic calming.
