I won't post many of these etiquette comments because we're all
adults, these posts themselves are off-topic, and I hope I can count
on folks to self-police the list. Thanks, Mike, for your request to
Andrew and Steve to save us time by stopping the sniping. Since it's
a new list, though, I will reiterate the point.
This is a discussion list, so back-and-forth is OK. But keep your
posts substantive, so that readers stand a good chance of learning
something from what you post. Back-and-forth sniping is not helpful.
