[Carfreeliving] walking billboard, really - not just a t-shirt

Have you ever seen and hated those driving billboards? Usually
advertising alcohol of some sort, it's a truck with a big billboard
where the useful to carry things part of the truck should be. I've seen
them downtown stuck in traffic, in the Haight stuck in traffic, and
South of Market stuck in traffic. I haven't seen a lot of them so I
don't think they are very popular in SF. I dislike them and always
shake my head and think, how stupid, what a waste of gas.
Well, today I saw a walking billboard crossing Market at Montgomery
around 2pm: two guys encased (imbedded?) inside a box about six feet
long and three 1/2 feet wide, no bottom, you could see their legs from
the knees or so, and no top, you could see their heads from the jaw line
or so, so the advertising space was pretty good size. What were they
advertising? Something that said healthy living something or other - it
was wasted on me. They did have a website listed for walking billboards
but I can't find it - see, it really was wasted on me.
Certainly cheaper start-up costs then a truck and better for everyone.
I think if they tried to walk down Montgomery at rush hour they would
get some dirty looks though - they took up quite a bit of space.
Better then a driving billboard, that's for sure.
