Hi Andy,

Why do the Precita Valley Neighbors feel that everyone is going to
divert to Precita from Cesar Chavez?  Precita does not go through to the
freeway, or to the eastside fo the city.  They are just wrong and must
be defeated.  This project will only improve their neighborhood
immensely.

The best arguments to use against them is the new left turn lane (which
I assume will be like the center lane on Valencia) will actually help
traffic flow because currently cars can never use the left lanes anyway
because they are blocked by left turners.  

Has anyone considered a trial period for the new design so we can prove
to them how their lives will improve by this project and how well it
will work?
