This position will serve as the primary designer for the Better Streets
Program, including the "Pavement to Parks" Program, and will be working
closely with me and the staff as DPW, as well as Planning.

Don't be dissuaded by the focus on transit planning and talk of traffic
engineering in the description; that was necessary to get the right
civil service class. Dean (the Planning Director), David and I have
agreed that this person should be a strong hands-on design in
environmental systems/landscape arch, and be able to manage projects.
